Addicted to ANTM..15 cycles later!

Have been completely hooked on ANTM cycle 15 for the past week and have to say i wish Chelsey or Kayla could've won!

Although to be fair, Kayla was 'the one who would do better as an actress' (as in every series) but my dearest Chelsey bun should've won! Ah well, Congrats Ann- (not) Easy, (not) Breezy but Beautiful, CoverGirl.

Two Thousand & Creativity...

Its taken a while but I've come to the realisation that I am a pretty creative person! I mean quite creative, not Narcissus. So i've included that I will be more creative, adventurous & make more of an effort with many things this year starting with my wardrobe! Hence the beginning of my winter moodboard. Woolen/ knits/ Bett Lynch/ grunge-glam/ understated/ cosy... if only this could be achieved on a daily basis!

I love clothes (NEWSFLASH) and so many different styles & would go as far to say mine has become somewhat lazy/ boring of late! It's not that effort can't be made, or that the bare essentials aren't there, but having to travel 2hours+ to uni every day does not inspire me to throw on any one of my favourite 6inch pairs of heels!

Three more days before uni so effort shall be made! Hmm... what to wear! Starting with my new suede (well, leather) boots from Topshop- mega heel, skinny leg, leather, oh and £35 in the sale! Helloooo January!

Wo-men?

Just finished reading this month's Elle Opinioon: 'Should women be acting more like men?' and my answer sans hesitation is a resounded yes!

When it comes to cliche's and adages- ie 'Behind every great man..' or the more apt 'No life without wife'- it's pretty clear who the better sex is so why shouldn't we be paid the same and treated the same be it in the office or the bedroom? Hell I'd even go as far as to say we deserve a pay rise in the life stakes purely for being the sacred baby vessels that we are destined to become!

My weekend job almost relies on my femininity to carry me through- not saying brains and common sense have little to do with it but in the field of hosting a good male is so rare to find... So with this in mind I tackle the door with all the wiles of a coyote on heat but the intent of Rooney's agent out for commision, resulting in partied out groups of men with deflated wallets and little else to show for it!

Off the field it's easy enough to sit back when the bill appears or stroke the bruised ego of a redundant partner all the while with baited breath that it wasn't your turn this time, on it is a little harder to grow a pair per se! Its something that we & I am definitely working on as the way i see it it's never too late to sprout a magnificent pair- by hook (surgically) or by crook!
